The ChowMatch Farm to Food Bank Platform helps to expand the availability of locally grown produce from small to medium size farms. Our technology strengthens the local food economy by supporting farmers and provides better access to fresh, local, nutritious food for residents experiencing food insecurity.
Currently, regional and federal grants are used to reimburse producers for the cost to process, glean, and transport their surplus produce to food banks, families, and schools.
