It is always free for businesses and organizations to donate their surplus food. That’s right, our ChowMatch partner organizations pick up your surplus food for free!
Our partner organizations also do not charge agencies to receive the surplus food.
We require a local sponsor to manage the ChowMatch application within their county or city. A sponsor can be a local food recovery organization, government county, or even an individual who cares about food waste. If you are interested in bringing ChowMatch to your area, please contact us.
Free Edition
Our free edition is an open platform that allows businesses to donate their surplus food. Recipient agencies receive an alert when surplus food becomes available. The open platform is a first come, first serve model, meaning the first recipient agency who claims the surplus food gets the food. Recipient agencies are required to use their own volunteers to pick up the surplus food. Please contact us to find out if your location meets the requirements to qualify for this version. Note: We are no longer offering this version to new customers. Please check back at a later time.
Enterprise Edition
The Enterprise edition uses matching logic to match donors and recipients. It also includes tools to manage food runners to pick up and deliver surplus food. View all features here. Please contact us for monthly pricing.
